BG Scholarship is building a community-Join Now!

BG scholarship is a (free) memorial scholarship that supports ALL students. Now we are reaching out to our network to build a community that will make a difference. This community is will consist of businesses that want to support students of all ages with their education. I believe that this community is worth building because, we as business owners know what it takes to succeed. Knowledge is the foundation for everything done well.

By coming together as a community of business owners we can stand behind our students. Help them develop their entrepreneurial drive and passion for business. More importantly, by supporting them so they can follow their own passions. Our future will be in their hands, so to instill the concept that business is not just about business, but that business is about people is important.

I am asking you to help support this scholarship by posting it on your blogs, make a flyer and hang it up in your place of business, put it on your website, tweet about it, Facebook it to everyone you know, support the businesses that support the scholarship and if you are inclined to go another step further make your own scholarship or contribute. There are many ways to be supportive but as we all know, money plays a big part of it, think about it and join us.

Here are a few businesses that have committed to making a difference:

Best Bites Bakery LLC has launched a new product in the United States. This is a Dutch Caramel Cookie that is a favorite in Holland. They have committed to donated 10% of their online sales to BG Scholarship, plus here is the link to the extra page on their website that promotes the scholarship. Link up with them on twitter @dutchTreats1. Go online and place an order and try these delicious treats.

The only way we can do this, is to do it together. You’ve heard the phrase, “You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours”? Well yes, I want you to promote the scholarship but this is a win, win for students and businesses alike. Let’s open the idea up for a healthy exchange of ideas.

Obtaining free funds allows you to stay out of debt while you move forward with your schooling. Scholarships can present you with opportunities that you may not have had in the past. They are an effective way to fulfill your dreams.
Scholarships -- Why Funding Is Important

Educational expenses can quickly add up. While student loans can help you fund your education, scholarships are the ideal choice. With free money, you can focus on your studies as opposed to accumulating interest on loan debt and worrying about how to pay it back. In addition, scholarships reward you for academic achievements or community contributions, whereas no significant accomplishments are needed to obtain a student loan.

Scholarships -- How to Find Them

To find a scholarship in Los Angeles, you can use the Internet to conduct a search. There are many websites that have compiled nationwide scholarship information in one place, making it easier for you to find one that fits your profile. You can also conduct a local search in the Los Angeles area by using a major search engine. Once you find an award that you like, you can review pertinent information on how to move forward.
Scholarships -- Satisfying Eligibility Requirements

Every scholarship has different eligibility criteria to submit an application for consideration. They also range in the size of the award. However, there is no limit to the number of scholarships you can obtain during your schooling, which means that you can continue to excel in school and be recognized for it. Depending on the scholarship you would like to apply for, you will have to satisfy various requirements. For instance, certain scholarships will ask you to write an essay and meet a minimum GPA.

Scholarships -- How You Can Use Them

Once you obtain a scholarship award, you can use them for a wide variety of expenses. For instance, you can use the funds towards your books and tuition. Some students are able to use it for lodging and meals as well. In most cases, the award is deposited into your student account at your school.

Free money across the nation

Students nationwide have the ability to apply for a scholarship award to fund their education. Reaching your goals can be easier when you gain access to free funding. Being rewarded for your academic achievements or community involvement can be worthwhile. Moving forward with your education can be easier when you have financial assistance.

Understanding the Importance of a Scholarship
Staying out of debt and avoiding the interest expense associated with a student loan can make it easier for you to focus on your studies. If an education has been out of your reach, then a scholarship can help you get there. There is no limit on the number of scholarships you can obtain from different organizations, which means that you can be rewarded for your continued academic success until you complete your education.

How to Find an Award that Best Suits You
To find scholarships that fit your needs, you can use various websites that compile all the information in one place. You can even narrow down your search within certain parameters, such as by age, merit, financial need, location and more. Local awards can also be found by using a major search engine. You will discover that there are many opportunities available for you.

Meeting the Eligibility Requirements
Each scholarship will have different criteria for eligibility. Some require you to be part of a particular organization, while others simply require you to carry a certain GPA. You can obtain full details on the scholarship by visiting their website. Many scholarships even offer online submission to facilitate the entire process. Once you determine your eligibility, you can move forward with your application.

Using the Funds
If you are awarded a scholarship, you can expect to have it deposited in your student account. However, there are exceptions to this common practice. The scholarship website often provides you with information on how the funds will be distributed and how they can be used. In most cases, you can pay for any related education expense, such as books, tuition, housing and meals.

Added Benefits
One of the added benefits of being an award recipient is the recognition you will receive for your academic or community accomplishments. It is an important trait that you can put on your resume to demonstrate your character and level of dedication. Employers are impressed by graduates who have reached their goals and set a good example for the community. It is an achievement that you should be proud of.
