BG Scholarship is building a community-Join Now!

BG scholarship is a (free) memorial scholarship that supports ALL students. Now we are reaching out to our network to build a community that will make a difference. This community is will consist of businesses that want to support students of all ages with their education. I believe that this community is worth building because, we as business owners know what it takes to succeed. Knowledge is the foundation for everything done well.

By coming together as a community of business owners we can stand behind our students. Help them develop their entrepreneurial drive and passion for business. More importantly, by supporting them so they can follow their own passions. Our future will be in their hands, so to instill the concept that business is not just about business, but that business is about people is important.

I am asking you to help support this scholarship by posting it on your blogs, make a flyer and hang it up in your place of business, put it on your website, tweet about it, Facebook it to everyone you know, support the businesses that support the scholarship and if you are inclined to go another step further make your own scholarship or contribute. There are many ways to be supportive but as we all know, money plays a big part of it, think about it and join us.

Here are a few businesses that have committed to making a difference:

Best Bites Bakery LLC has launched a new product in the United States. This is a Dutch Caramel Cookie that is a favorite in Holland. They have committed to donated 10% of their online sales to BG Scholarship, plus here is the link to the extra page on their website that promotes the scholarship. Link up with them on twitter @dutchTreats1. Go online and place an order and try these delicious treats.

Often nothing gets done for free, so let me be the first to offer some real-estate on my newsletter to promote your business for free. If you promote BG Scholarship in anyway, drop me a note at virginiapijlman@bgscholarship.com with a link to where you posted or a picture of the flyer that you made and I will add your business name and website link on my newsletter for the month of July. I email blast my newsletter to over 5000 students across the nation on a monthly basis.

The only way we can do this, is to do it together. You’ve heard the phrase, “You scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours”? Well yes, I want you to promote the scholarship but this is a win, win for students and businesses alike. Let’s open the idea up for a healthy exchange of ideas.

  1. Hey I wasn't sure how else to contact you about this. I tried to apply for your scholarship and when I clicked submit it displayed a message that there's something wrong with the SQL syntax. I'm not sure if that's a problem with the site itself or if something's wrong on my end, I just thought I should let you know so maybe it can be fixed.

  2. Hello! I am having the same issue as the comment above me. I cannot apply because of a SQL syntax error and wanted to know if there would be an alternate way to submit the application.
